Mold Inspections, samples and Prices

There are two types of inspections offered
Limited Mold Inspection 
Air or Direct Sampling

Both mold inspections  and tsampling should include a minimum of 2 samples (1 indoor and 1 outdoor). More are taken if needed. The limited inspection primarily focuses on one area that is suspected or known to have mold issues.



Petri dishes are rarely used.

All tests are performed with only professional testing equiptment, including IAQ air pumps. These pumps draw airborne mold particles into a small cartridge, which is later sent to a lab for testing.

All sample results are generally returned by the next day.


Cost for testing


One area of interest sample can be taken if needed.

Minimum testing cost  1 indoor and 1 outdoor                $180.00
 (2 samples taken)
Each additional sample    areas of interest                    $75.00

Mold inspections

Limited inspection with testing                              $250 Minimum
This includes two air samples


No sampling has to be done. If you personally just want to try and have an inspection to find the source of the issues and that is all you request, then the inspection would fall into a general home inspection catagory and cost would run    $75.00 per hour.
