HERE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHY A HOME SHOULD BE INSPECTED!
The newly remodeled home I inspected had a new circuit breaker panel installed. The wire you see is one of the main power wires that someone inserted 3 drywall screws into. It is hard to figure out why this was done, but the electrical arcing between the screws and the main breaker, started melting the set screw for the breaker wire. This was a fire just waiting to happen. The person responsible could have only been amateur, and might have had good intentions. But even the best intentions can become deadly! |
